How to Cancel Experian Membership? [Online and Phone]
To cancel ViewFreeScore, call customer service at (866) 460-2315 or sign in to your member portal and ask in the chat.[1] Those are the only two ways its Member FAQ gives, and both go through an agent. Cancel before your next billing date, and keep the confirmation number or a copy of the chat.
Cancel ViewFreeScore by phone

- Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM
- Sunday, 1 PM to 6 PM
- Call (866) 460-2315 with the email address you signed up with and your card statement in front of you.
- Tell the agent you want to cancel your ViewFreeScore membership.
- Ask for a cancellation confirmation number and an email that confirms it.
- Before you hang up, write down the date, the time, the agent’s name and the confirmation number.
Cancel ViewFreeScore online through member portal chat
The chat is inside the member portal, so you need your login. ViewFreeScore emails log-in credentials within 24 hours of sign-up; search your inbox for that welcome email if you’ve forgotten your password.[1]
- Go to viewfreescore.com and sign in to the member portal.
- Open the chat and write: “Please cancel my ViewFreeScore membership and email me a confirmation.”
- Before you close the window, screenshot or copy the whole conversation, including the date.

In a reply to a BBB complaint in November 2024, the company described its offer as a $1 seven-day trial followed by $39.90 a month.[4] We couldn’t read the current Terms of Service (the page blocks automated tools), so check the offer terms you saw at sign-up and your welcome email for your own trial length and first billing date.
If you’re charged after canceling
Work through these in order, and keep copies of everything.
- Call ViewFreeScore first. Call (866) 460-2315 with your confirmation number or chat copy and ask for the charge to be reversed.
- File a BBB complaint. Golden Few, LLC, the company behind ViewFreeScore, answers complaints on its BBB profile. In responses from December 2025 and May 2026 it said it had refunded the member. In the December case it called this a courtesy refund because the member “was not eligible for a refund under the applicable policy.”[4]
- Dispute it with your card issuer. Under federal rules for US credit cards, the CFPB says to send a written billing error notice within 60 days after the charge appeared on your statement (CFPB page last reviewed April 15, 2024).[5] Attach your cancellation proof. For a debit card, ask your bank how its dispute process works. This is general information, not legal advice.

ViewFreeScore and ClickFreeScore are different companies
The names are close, but ClickFreeScore is run by Norscore, LLC in Stamford, Connecticut, and its cancellation line is (855) 504-5101.[3] ViewFreeScore belongs to Golden Few, LLC in Montgomery, Alabama. Who runs ViewFreeScore and what members report
ViewFreeScore is owned by Golden Few, LLC, according to its Member FAQ.[1] Its BBB profile lists the business as started in October 2016, not BBB-accredited and rated A (as of September 26, 2026), and it shows other names the company uses, including 3 Golden Credit Scores.[4] The site itself notes that the scores it shows “may not be the same scores used by lenders or other commercial users for credit decisions.”[8]
On September 26, 2026, ViewFreeScore had a 1.4 out of 5 rating from 63 reviews on Trustpilot,[6] and its BBB profile listed 64 complaints.[4] Members report the same few problems in reviews and complaints from 2024 to 2026: a monthly charge of about $39.90 after a $1 offer they say they didn’t expect, needing several calls to cancel, and refunds promised by phone that hadn’t arrived when they wrote. Some reviewers say they reached ViewFreeScore through a “free score” step on a loan or rental listing.
