How to Cancel Your GO Car Wash Membership (Online, In Person or Support)
Golden Nozzle lets you cancel an Unlimited Wash Pass online, by phone at (413) 642-9137 or at any of its car washes, and the pass keeps working until your next monthly sign-up anniversary. Have the 11-digit pass number from your windshield sticker ready, and keep any confirmation email you receive.[1]
Find your Unlimited Wash Pass number first
Your Unlimited Wash Pass number is the 11-digit number on the sticker in your windshield. Golden Nozzle asks for it when you call or email, and the online form may ask for your tag number too.[3]
Can’t read the sticker or lost it? Call customer service instead.
How to cancel Golden Nozzle online (Manage Your Membership)
- Copy the 11-digit Unlimited Wash Pass number from the sticker on your windshield.
- Open Golden Nozzle’s Manage Your Membership page.
- Choose the Cancel option and enter your tag number when asked.
- Submit the request, then save the confirmation email or a screenshot of the final screen.
Tip: no confirmation email? Call customer service at (413) 642-9137 to check the cancellation went through.
Cancel Golden Nozzle by phone: (413) 642-9137
Call (413) 642-9137, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, and ask to cancel your Unlimited Wash Pass. Have your pass number handy when you call.[1]
Prefer writing? Golden Nozzle also manages accounts by email at customersvc@goldennozzlecarwash.com. Include your name, phone number and Unlimited Wash Pass number so the team can find your plan.[4]
Cancel at a Golden Nozzle location
Any Golden Nozzle car wash can cancel your pass. Ask a manager, assistant manager or sales associate on site.
The Golden Nozzle locations page lists its sites in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, with hours and, for most, a phone number.
Golden Nozzle cancellation timing: your sign-up anniversary
Your pass renews and is billed each month on the date you signed up. After you cancel, it stays valid until that anniversary date, and Golden Nozzle doesn’t refund partial months, however often you washed.[1][2]
The terms ask for “sufficient notice” but don’t name a number of days. Cancel a few days before your anniversary date so the request is processed before the next charge.[2]
Example: if you joined on the 12th, you’re billed on the 12th of each month. Cancel a few days before the 12th and keep washing until then.
Changed your mind? Reactivate or downgrade instead
Golden Nozzle’s pass-management page says a canceled plan is reactivated at a car wash, not online, so stop by a location if you change your mind.[3]
If the price is the issue, a cheaper plan may suit you better than canceling. A downgrade and its new price start on your next billing date, and you can change your membership level only once every 90 days, so pick the plan you’ll keep.[2]
Sold or replaced your car? Tell Golden Nozzle
Each pass covers one vehicle, and the tag on its front windshield can’t be moved to a different car. Golden Nozzle charges for tag replacements and transfers, and the membership is void if you sell the car without reporting it.[2]
Before the car changes hands, contact customer service to ask about a transfer or to cancel.
Golden Nozzle cancellation FAQs
Can I pause my Golden Nozzle membership?
Golden Nozzle’s terms say members can pause online, but they don’t explain how long a pause lasts or what it costs. Ask customer service before you rely on it, or downgrade or cancel instead.[2]
Why did my Golden Nozzle price go up?
Golden Nozzle can change its plans and prices, and prices vary by location. If a new price doesn’t work for you, downgrade or cancel before your next anniversary date.
Does the pass work at every Golden Nozzle?
No. The Unlimited Wash Pass isn’t valid at Golden Nozzle’s touch-free locations. If you mostly wash at one of those, see how other chains handle it in our guides to canceling car wash plans.[2]
