- Billing anniversary date — the date GO Car Wash charges your card each month
Find your billing date: Check your bank statement for the recurring GO Car Wash charge. That date is your anniversary date — count back 7 days to find your safe cancellation window.
How to Cancel Your GO Car Wash Membership
To cancel your go car wash membership online, all you need is your phone number to login to your account. Then follow the steps listed below:

Open the Member Portal
Go to membership portal by visiting https://gocarwash.com/ then clicking on “Member + Customer Login” or visit gocarwash.app.rinsed.co/portal/sessions/new
Log In to Your Account
Log in with your phone number or email address. or Use your Last Name, Last 4 digits of Credit Card, Barcode or License Plate Number.
Navigate to Your Membership
Select your active unlimited membership plan.
Submit Your Cancellation
Click on “Cancel Membership” button and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.
Save Your Confirmation
GO Car Wash sends a confirmation email after processing. Save this email — it serves as your proof if a billing dispute arises later.

How to Cancel Go Car Wash In Person

Visit any GO Car Wash location and speak directly with a team member or manager to cancel your unlimited plan.
Ask for a written or printed cancellation receipt before you leave. This receipt is your proof of cancellation if a charge posts after your visit.
You may be offered a discounted rate to keep your membership. If you accept a promotional rate, confirm the exact duration of that rate in writing — GO Car Wash Terms state promotional pricing reverts to the standard rate after the promo period ends.
Alternative Methods to Cancel GO Car Wash

Cancel via the Contact Us Form

GO Car Wash accepts cancellation requests through its Help page form, which includes “Cancel Membership” as a request type.
- Open the GO Car Wash Help page and scroll to the Contact Us form.
- Fill in your name, email, phone number, license plate state, and license plate number.
- Select “Cancel Membership” from the “How Can We Help You?” dropdown.
- Select your region and location.
- Submit the form.
GO Car Wash states responses through this form take up to 5 business days. Use this method as a backup — not as your first option if your billing date is close.

The 7-Day Notice Window
Note: The GO Car Wash FAQ states 7 days notice; the Membership Terms (Dec 26, 2025) state 5 business days. These are different thresholds. This guide uses the more conservative figure — 7 days — to protect you from a late charge while the two sources remain in conflict. Verify the current policy directly on the GO Car Wash Help page before you cancel.
Submit your cancellation at least 7 days before your anniversary billing date. Cancel later than this, and GO Car Wash processes the request after your card is already charged — you will not receive a refund, but your pass stays active through that next cycle.
Refund Policy
GO Car Wash issues no refunds for partial months or unused time. All membership sales are final once the billing date passes.
Promotional Rate Policy
GO Car Wash promotional rates apply for a set period only. Once a promo period ends, the membership renews at the standard rate. GO Car Wash must notify you at least 21 days in advance of any price change via email, in-store signage, or website update. If your rate increased without notice, contact GO Car Wash with your original enrollment receipt.
Selling or Replacing Your Vehicle
You do not need to cancel if you sell or replace your car. Remove the RFID sticker and visit any GO Car Wash location to transfer your membership to the new vehicle. Charges continue until the transfer is complete — do not delay.
Lost or Stolen Vehicle
Contact GO Car Wash immediately if your vehicle is lost or stolen. GO Car Wash holds you responsible for all charges until the membership is deactivated — the membership may continue to be used on the vehicle until you report it.
California Residents
California law requires GO Car Wash to clearly disclose auto-renewal terms before purchase and to allow cancellation online at any time before the next billing cycle. California residents can cancel online without the 7-day advance notice constraint. Contact the California Department of Consumer Affairs at 1-800-952-5210 if you experience issues.

Common Issues
Charged for an extra month after canceling: This is the most common issue reported with GO Car Wash memberships. It almost always happens because the cancellation was submitted within 7 days of the billing date. Save your confirmation email and contact GO Car Wash support with it — or dispute the charge with your bank using the confirmation as evidence.
Promotional rate jumped to full price: GO Car Wash Terms allow promotional rates to revert to standard pricing after the promo period ends. If your rate changed, check the email GO Car Wash is required to send at least 21 days before a price adjustment. If you received no notice, contact support with your original enrollment receipt.
Profile or account access issues after updating vehicle: Some members report losing online account access after editing vehicle details. If this happens, visit a GO Car Wash location directly to manage your cancellation — a team member can process it from their system.
Duplicate billing or unexpected charges: Check your bank statements after cancellation for extra charges tied to a second vehicle or duplicate account. Forward your cancellation confirmation to GO Car Wash support immediately if you see a charge that should not be there.
Phone goes to voicemail: GO Car Wash phone support does not always reach a live agent. Use the online portal or Contact Us form if you need a documented cancellation trail.
Debit card vs. credit card: If you need to dispute a charge, credit card issuers typically process billing disputes faster than debit card banks. If you have not already, consider whether your payment method supports fast disputes before you cancel.
After You Cancel
