
Zips Car Wash accepts membership cancellation through four methods: a support ticket, Zendesk form, the mobile app, or a phone call.

What You Need Before You Cancel
Gather the following information before you start:
- Full name on the account
- Email address tied to the account
- Member RFID number or — the barcode on your windshield sticker
- Vehicle license plate (if your membership links to a vehicle instead of an RFID)
- Billing cycle date – Check your contract or Mobile app
Tip: The RFID lookup tool frequently rejects valid numbers. Your sticker reads like
123456789, but the system may require a hashtag in front of it — type#123456789. Omitting the hashtag returns a false “account not found” or “already canceled” error.
Method 1: Submit a Help Ticket Online to Cancel Zips Car Wash (Recommended)
The Help Ticket form provides the most reliable cancellation path for members who run into account login issues in the app. Zips customer support directs many cancellation requests to this form, particularly when the app fails to complete login.
What You Need: Your name, email, phone number, car wash location, and RFID number or license plate
Open Zip Car Wash Help Center Page

Open the https://zipscarwash.com/help-center in your browser. Then click on the “Submit Help Ticket” form.
Enter Your Account Details
Enter your name, email, phone number, and the specific car wash location you use.
Enter Your RFID or License Plate
Enter your Member RFID number — the barcode on your windshield sticker — or your license plate number.
Select Your Cancellation Reason
Select your cancellation reason from the dropdown menu.
Write short Cancellation Request the Submit the Form
State your full name, RFID number, and a direct request to cancel your membership in the message field. Keep the message short and specific.
Click Send. Zips confirms receipt by email.
Signed up with a paper enrollment form? Migrate your plan to the app first. Open the More menu, tap “Migrate My Plan to the App,” then return to Garage → Manage → Cancel Plan.
Method 2: Cancel Zips Car Wash via Mobile App
The Zips app provides a direct in-app cancellation as a contractual cancellation method.

Downlod and Login to Zips Car Wash Official app
Download the official zips car wash app available on Android and iPhone then login using your phone number.
Open the “Garage Menu”
Open the ZIPS Car Wash app and tap Garage. This menu displays your active membership plan.
Tap on “Manage”
Tap Manage next to your active plan. Zips opens your plan controls here.
Tap on “Cancel” button
Tap Cancel Plan and confirm your request. Zips processes the cancellation immediately upon confirmation.
Method 3: Cancel Zips Car Wash via Phone

Tell the representative you want to cancel your membership. Provide your RFID number and account details to verify your identity.
Method 4: Cancellation via Zendesk Request Form

The Zendesk form provides a secondary web-based path if the Help Center form is unavailable.
- Open the Zips Zendesk Help Center.
- Fill in your contact and account details.
- Select a cancellation-related request type.
- Describe your cancellation request in the message field.
- Submit the form.

- Confirm you receive a cancellation email at the address linked to your account.
- Check your billing statement for one full cycle after cancellation.

Prepaid Membership Plans Cancellation Method
Prepaid plans carry a stricter cancellation window than subscription plans.
- Zips allows cancellation only within the first month of a prepaid plan.
- Canceling in month one refunds the remaining prepaid months — a 6-month prepaid plan canceled in month one refunds months 2–6.
- After month one, prepaid plans become non-cancelable and non-refundable.
Pause Your Membership Instead
Zips offers a pause option for members who are traveling or temporarily skipping washes.
Request a pause through a Help Ticket on the Zips website rather than canceling outright. A pause keeps your account and RFID active for when you return.
Common Issues and Fixes
App login does not complete: Some members report the app login process stalls or fails to finish. If this happens, skip the app and submit a Help Ticket instead — Zips support routes these requests through the same form.
RFID barcode not recognized: Add a hashtag (#) before the number when you enter it manually online.
Card expired or lost: Zips does not treat a failed payment as a cancellation. Unresolved billing suspends your account, and unpaid balances unresolved within 5 days of your billing date can terminate your access. Reactivation after termination requires an in-person visit to a Zips location. Cancel formally instead of letting a card lapse.
No confirmation within 48 hours: Call (855) 947-7927 directly, or follow up on the Help Center ticket you submitted.
